What would Jimmy Want?

By Dwayne Clark, CEO on September 15, 2008 9:44 AM

Being from Seattle and the home of Jimmy Hendrix, it makes me ponder where Jimmy would want to retire if he lived into his eighties.

Would he be playing loud guitar solos in our lobbies? Would lava lights replace bingo boards? Would our staff wear tie-dye instead of polo shirts?

The point here is retirement housing is changing. Our latest property, Varenna, has a bar connected to a golf course and its own lake. Retirement is not retirement anymore! It is living well without the worries of work and life’s burdens.

That is what Aegis does for people. I think Jimmy would approve.
