Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day

First mothers day without mom.

Ironically, I worked the last three days with my editor on the book I’m writing about Mom. Reliving memories and frolics. It brought to light a funny phenomenon, when our parents are alive we focus so much time on what they didn’t do or what they did wrong. When they pass you marvel at how much they did right.

No parent is perfect, no parent will do everything to your satisfaction. But one thing is undeniable, they are the only parent you have. Just as they put up with the errors of our ways growing up, you too must accept them for who they are.

A very close friend of mine who is a psychologist always says, “They did the best they could with the way they had it figured out.” I believe this….

Happy Mothers Day Moms.
